Investment Team
The management team consists of the four Principals who have over 60 years of combined secondary market experience.

Ronn C. Cornelius
Ronn C. Cornelius is a Co-Founder and Principal of Montauk TriGuard. Mr. Cornelius, along with Mr. Tang, continues to manage Pacific Life's private equity portfolio.

Edgar J. Pfohl
Edgar J. Pfohl is a Co-Founder and Principal of Montauk TriGuard. Mr. Pfohl is also General Partner and Founder of Montauk Advisors, L.L.C., the investment advisor for the Montauk Funds I and II, where he led the sourcing and negotiation efforts.  

Brian M. Smith, CPA, CFA
Brian M. Smith is a Co-Founder and Principal of Montauk TriGuard. Mr. Smith is also General Partner and Founder of Montauk Advisors, L.L.C., the investment advisor for the Montauk Funds I and II, where he led the efforts in evaluating transactions and fund operations.  

Samuel Tang
Samuel Tang is a Co-Founder and Principal of Montauk TriGuard. Mr. Tang, along with Mr. Cornelius, continues to manage Pacific Life's private equity portfolio.
