Ronn C. Cornelius
Ronn C. Cornelius is a Co-Founder and Principal of Montauk TriGuard. Mr. Cornelius, along with Mr. Tang, continues to manage Pacific Life's private equity portfolio. Prior to co-founding Montauk TriGuard, Mr. Cornelius was a Managing Director, Equities, of Pacific Life, as well as Co-Chairman of the Workout Committee. During his 16 years with Pacific Life, Mr. Cornelius was active in making debt, mezzanine and private equity investments in various industries, including utilities, energy, real estate, media, financial and sports franchises. He helped build and co-managed Pacific Life's private equity portfolio of secondary and primary funds. Mr. Cornelius was also instrumental in Pacific Life becoming a founding limited partner in several secondary funds, including Montauk I and II, where he served as a de facto member of their investment committees. He has served on numerous advisory boards, including secondary funds managed by ARCIS Finance, Coller Capital, Landmark Partners, Lexington Partners and Pantheon Ventures and primary funds managed by Brentwood Associates, Energy Investors Funds, Innocal and Windjammer Capital Investors. Mr. Cornelius has an MBA and BS in Finance from California State University at Long Beach.
