Eric Becker is Principal and CFO of the Montauk TriGuard Funds. Prior joining Montauk TriGuard, Mr. Becker was a Managing Director at Macquarie Investment Management Private Markets (“MIMPM”). Mr. Becker served as a member of MIMPM’s Investment Committee, which was responsible for over $7 billion of assets under advice globally, investing in private funds, secondary investments and co-investments. Prior to co-founding MIMPM’s US operation in 2005, Becker served as a Director at Pacific Corporate Group where he was primarily responsible for sourcing and executing private equity investments on behalf of a variety of large US pension plans. Earlier in his career, Becker spent 6 years working for Pacific Life Insurance Company and for Deloitte & Touche. Becker holds a BA from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from University of Southern California. He is a CFA Charter Holder and a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Becker has served on several private equity fund advisory and corporate boards.
