Ronn C. Cornelius is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of the Montauk TriGuard Funds. Prior to co-founding the Montauk TriGuard Funds, Mr. Cornelius was Managing Director, Equities, of Pacific Life, as well as Co-Chairman of the Workout Committee. During his 16 years with Pacific Life, Mr. Cornelius was active in making investments in various industries, including utilities, energy, real estate, media, financial and sports franchises. He helped build and co-manage Pacific Life's private equity portfolio of secondary and primary funds. Mr. Cornelius was also instrumental in Pacific Life becoming a founding limited partner in several secondary funds, including Montauk Partners I and II, where he served as a de facto member of their investment committees. He has served on numerous advisory boards, including secondary funds managed by ARCIS Finance, Coller Capital, CSFB, Landmark Partners, Lexington Partners and Pantheon Ventures. Mr. Cornelius has an MBA and BS in Finance from California State University at Long Beach. In addition, Mr. Cornelius is actively involved in the community and serves on the Board of Governors of Chapman University and the Board of Trustees for Concordia University.
